  • Our wedding venue, Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, is also a hotel and an option for anyone who wants to stay on-site. You can book via email (recepcion.valbuena@castillatermal.com), mentioning the Sabarots–Wolfe wedding to access a discounted rate.

    We also made all rooms available at Fuente Aceña Boutique Hotel (where the welcome event will be held). This hotel is now fully booked, but you can email (info@fuenteacena.es) and ask to get on the waitlist for the Sabarots–Wolfe wedding in the event of any cancellations.

    As a third option, AZZ Peñafiel Las Claras Hotel & Spa. You can book directly via their website or Booking.com. They have highly competitive and flexible rates.

    These are the three recommended hotels, but there are others in the area so feel free to explore.

    Most hotel rates include breakfast. Outside of the welcome dinner, the wedding celebration (dinner and more), and Sunday’s farewell lunch, the time is yours to enjoy the area, plan your own meals and travel logistics in/out.

  • Valladolid is located about two hours northwest of Madrid. The city is known for its tapas and pinchos, as well as the exquisite wines of the Ribera del Duero region.

    Madrid–Barajas (MAD) International Airport has the most international flight options, and from there you can reach Valladolid by car or by train.

    By car:

    • If you rent a car in Madrid (either in the city or at the airport), you can drive directly to the event area and hotels in about two hours along the wine route.

    • Important Note: If you're picking up your rental car in the city, make sure you're ready to head straight out of the city center rather than needing to drive around first (e.g. to grab bags or pick people up) — driving within central Madrid can trigger fines under the city's low-emissions rules. Alternatively, renting a hybrid or EV avoids this issue entirely.

    By train:

    • Take the train from Madrid Chamartín to Valladolid-Campo Grande station. The journey takes about an hour.

    • Once at Valladolid station, you can rent a car in Valladolid’s city center, or arrange for a taxi pick-up to/from the event area and hotels (~40 minutes).

    • Important Note: If you plan to take a taxi to/from the event area and hotels, contact your hotel concierge to arrange for this in advance, as there are limited cabs in the area and no Ubers.

    Renting a car (either in Madrid or Valladolid) is the most convenient option and will give you the freedom to get around throughout the weekend and enjoy the vineyard region.

    Several guests will likely share cars; if you’d like, we can help coordinate that.

    There is free parking both at the hotels and at the Monastery.

  • We’ll be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding venue on Saturday, October 24. Shuttles will pick up and drop off at both Fuente Aceña and AZZ Peñafiel Las Claras Hotel & Spa. 

    • Exact shuttle pick-up and drop-off times for will be provided in printed itineraries upon arrival at any of the hotels.

    • If you stay at another place nearby, you can easily drive to one of these locations for shuttle pickup, or directly to the monastery.

    • Remember, if you’ve opted to not rent a car and will need transport beyond the provided shuttle on Saturday, October 24, you must contact your hotel concierge to arrange this in advance, as there are limited cabs in the area and no Ubers.

    Depending on how many guests end up not renting a car, we may also provide shuttle transportation to and from the welcome event on Friday, October 23.

  • With most guests arriving just before the welcome cocktail on Friday and the wedding starting promptly at 6pm on Saturday, we don’t suspect there will be a ton of free time… But, in case you find yourself with a car and some time to kill, we’ll be posting some places worth checking out here on this site. Stay tuned!

  • We’re thrilled that most of our guests are planning to spend some time in the beautiful Madrid either before or after the wedding. There is so much we love about this city we can’t wait for you to experience, so we’re pulling together a little list of Ana & Nate’s Madrid favorites. Stay tuned for that here.

    Meantime, if you’re booking accommodations in Madrid, we love the neighborhoods of Salamanca, Justicia, and Barrio de las Letras as a home base.

  • El lugar del casamiento, Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, también es hotel y es una opción para quien quiera quedarse en el lugar. Podés reservar por email (recepcion.valbuena@castillatermal.com), mencionando el casamiento Sabarots–Wolfe para obtener una tarifa especial.

    También reservamos todas las habitaciones del Fuente Aceña Boutique Hotel (donde se celebrará el evento de bienvenida). Este hotel ya está completo, pero podés mandar un email (info@fuenteacena.es) y pedir para entrar en lista de espera del casamiento Sabarots–Wolfe por si se libera algo.

    Como tercera opción, AZZ Peñafiel Las Claras Hotel & Spa. Podés reservar directo desde su web o por Booking.com.

    Estos son los tres hoteles recomendados, pero hay otros en la zona, así que si quieren pueden explorar más opciones.

    La mayoría de las tarifas de hotel incluyen desayuno. Fuera de la cena de bienvenida, la celebración de la boda (con cena y más), y el almuerzo de despedida del domingo, tendrás el tiempo libre para disfrutar de la zona, organizar tus actividades y coordinar tus horarios de llegada y salida.

  • Valladolid se encuentra aproximadamente a dos horas al noroeste de Madrid. La ciudad es conocida por sus tapas y pinchos, así como por los exquisitos vinos de la región de Ribera del Duero.

    El Aeropuerto Internacional de Madrid–Barajas (MAD) es el aeropuerto con más vuelos internacionales, y desde ahí podes llegar a Valladolid en auto o en tren.

    En auto:

    • Si alquilás un auto en Madrid (ya sea en la ciudad o en el aeropuerto), podés manejar directo hasta la zona del evento y los hoteles en unas dos horas por la ruta del vino.

    • Importante: Si vas a retirar tu auto de alquiler en la ciudad, asegurate de estar listo para salir directo hacia las afueras de la ciudad en vez de tener que manejar antes por el centro (como para buscar valijas o gente). Manejar dentro del centro de Madrid puede generarte multas por las leyes de bajas emisiones de la ciudad. Otra opción es alquilar un auto híbrido o eléctrico, y te evitás el tema por completo.

    En tren:

    • Tomá el tren desde Madrid Chamartín hasta la estación Valladolid-Campo Grande. El viaje dura como una hora.

    • Ya en la estación de Valladolid, podés alquilar un auto en el centro de la ciudad, o coordinar un taxi de ida y vuelta a la zona del evento y los hoteles (~40 minutos).

    • Importante: Si pensás tomar un taxi de ida y vuelta a la zona del evento y los hoteles, comunicate con tu hotel para coordinarlo con anticipación, porque hay pocos taxis en la zona y no hay Uber.

    Alquilar auto (ya sea en Madrid o en Valladolid) es lo más cómodo y les dará libertad para moverse durante el fin de semana y disfrutar la zona de viñedos.

    Seguramente varios invitados compartan auto; si quieren, podemos ayudar a coordinarlo.

    Hay estacionamiento sin cargo en los hoteles y en el Monasterio.

  • Ofreceremos transporte en shuttle de ida y vuelta al lugar del casamiento el sábado 24 de octubre. Los shuttles van a parar tanto en Fuente Aceña como en AZZ Peñafiel Las Claras Hotel & Spa.

    • Los horarios exactos de subida y bajada del shuttle se van a informar en itinerarios impresos al llegar a cualquiera de los hoteles.

    • Si te alojás en otro lugar cerca, podés manejar tranquilo hasta alguno de estos puntos para tomar el shuttle, o ir directo al monasterio.

    • Recuerda, si decidiste no alquilar auto y vas a necesitar transporte extra más allá del shuttle el sábado 24 de octubre, tenés que comunicarte con tu hotel para coordinarlo con anticipación, porque hay pocos taxis en la zona y no hay Uber.

    Dependiendo de cuantos invitados decidan no alquilar auto, pensaremos en coordinar transporte de ida y vuelta para el evento de bienvenida el viernes, 23 de octubre.

  • Como la mayoría de los invitados llega justo antes del cóctel de bienvenida del viernes, y el casamiento arranca puntual a las 18hs del sábado, no creemos que vaya a sobrar mucho tiempo libre… Pero por las dudas tengas auto y algo de tiempo, vamos a ir subiendo acá algunos lugares que valen la pena. Estate atento!

  • Nos encanta que la mayoría de los invitados esté pensando en pasar unos días en la hermosa ciudad de Madrid, antes o después del casamiento. Estamos armando una lista con nuestros lugares favoritos en Madrid. Estate atento, ya la vamos a subir acá.

    Mientras tanto, si estás reservando alojamiento en Madrid, nos encantan los barrios de Salamanca, Justicia y Barrio de las Letras como base.
